Hello all!
First let me introduce myself. I'm the guy who wrote LaserBoy!
DXF file at a time. That is not so! LaserBoy can open a full directory of DXF files! It imports them into alpha-numeric order. I do not know about C4D, but I know that other vector graphics apps can export animations as a large set of sequentially numbered DXF files.
Note: You need to upload your DXF files inside the folder inside the dxf folder within the LaserBoy folder.
... / Laserboy / DXF / [your_folder_name]
This is the only way LaserBoy can find you!
It is important to note that LaserBoy only knows how to read a specific set of DXF drawing ENTITIES.

It can not read SPLINE! AutoCAD DXF version 12. It can read as well as from the DXF palette of 256 colors or as a 24-bit entity.
Once a frame is imported from DXF files, it can then be saved as ILDA.
If the original art is 3D and uses the DXF it can be saved as ILDA format 0, unless unless you change the palette from DXF (256 colors) to standard ILDA (63 colors), LaserBoy wants to save a section of ILDA format 2 before any other frames, that defines the DXF range. Many applications that import ILDA files can not read ILDA format 2! So, if you want to save your ILDA file using the standard 63 color ILDA palette, you will need to use a "best match colors" in LaserBoy to convert all of your frames to the standard ILDA palette.
If your DXF type uses 24-bit color, you will need to reduce the color to the 63 color ILDA standard palette, using the same method.
If your art is 2D, LaserBoy will naturally save the frames as ILDA format 1. Some of the SD card readers that come with laser projectors do not accept ILDA format 1. So you have to convert these frames to 3D. You are doing this by moving on the Z axis. If you can not figure out how to do that, I would be glad to explain.
You can also save your frame as ILDA format 4 or 5 (3D or 2D 24-bit colors).
Please post any questions you might have. LaserBoy is a huge subject of its own, so maybe a new thread just about it might be started.

The distribution comes with a pre-compiled exe for Windows. It also includes the open source code in C ++ that can be compiled for Linux or Mac OSX.
Have fun!
