Hi, I'm trying to send someone else a copy of a short animation that I made in Maya. She had requested her as a project file. The animation is about 2-3 seconds long, has about 5 character rigs and a light animation. When I originally created the file, I just imported all the rigs into the Maya scene, it's not referenced, so I did not create a project file first, and the Maya file weighs about 300 MB. I've seen somewhere online that I can create a project file later when I archive it or something? I want to make sure that this is possible and / or how it works, and would be happy to help.
