Verschobene DIV-Elementen im IE7

Hallo alle zusammen,

ich habe eine Webseite erstelle und mir ist aufgefallen das im IE7 meine Elemente verschoben sind. Leider weiß ich nicht genau was ich dabei falsch gemacht habe. Im IE8 sieht alles so aus wie es sein soll.
Vielleicht kann mir ja jemand von Euch helfen!

Nicht erschrecken, für einige sieht es bestimmt wie Kraut und Rüben aus.
In der Sache bin ich noch ein Anfänger. :(

Hi!

Hab eben mal schnell rübergeschaut und deinen Quelltext in den Validator geschmissen. Sind 4 Fehler bei rausgekommen. Die solltest du erst einmal fixen. Ansonsten wäre es super, wenn du die Seite irgendwo hochladen könntest.

Ich habe die Fehler behoben ausser einen, das weiß ich nicht genau was der von mir will.

Ich nehme das Tool IE-Tester, kann ich nur empfehlen ist kostenlos! Fall ich dir einen Tipp geben kann und der auch noch vielleicht hilfreich für dich ist.

Da wird ein </div> geschlossen, welches zuvor aber nicht geöffnet wurde. Sprich du hast entweder ein schließendes DIV zu viel oder ein öffnendes DIV zu wenig.

Jepp, das schließende DIV vor dem Kommentar scheint zu viel zu sien.

Den IE-Tester nutze ich auch. Sitze aber im Moment an einem Mac.

Ich habe es gefunden, da habe ich es wohl gut gemeint mit den DIV´s und eins zuviel gehabt.
Aber leider ist das IE7 Problem nicht aus mein Leben :(

Zum Vergrößern anklicken....

zuerst einmal solltest du einen CSS-Prolog definieren, um browserübergreifend für eine einheitliche Grundlage zu sorgen:
PHP:

.navigation und .content sollten beide in Verbindung mit einer festen Breite floaten (clearen hinterher nicht vergessen).
a würde ich display:block + etwas padding geben, damit die klickbare Fläche nicht gar so winzig ist.

Außerdem brauchen li und/oder a HasLayout für den IE7, am besten per Cond. Comment:

Hallo hupspe,

ich habe die Sachen geändert, aber
.navigation hat eine feste Breite von 180px und float:left, display:block, clear:both;
.content Breite 992px, margin-right u. left 16px.
ich weiß nicht genau wo da der Fehler sein soll. Du hattest geschrieben die beiden sollen eine feste Breite haben und das haben sie doch?

Ich habe jetzt noch mal herum experimentiert und siehe da jetzt ist es auch im IE7 richtig. Dabei habe ich den .content verkleinert neben .navigation floaten lassen und dahinein .maincontent und .image. Jetzt sieht es gut aus.
Ich würde den Code noch mal posten, vielleicht kann mir jedemand sagen ob es so korekt ist. Ich will ja auch aus Fehlern lernen, dazu braucht man aber auch eine Aussage ob es so i.O. ist, nicht das ich bloß Glück gehabt hatte.
